Don't miss the final chance to enjoy Sakura viewing at Omuro Ninna-ji temple, a large temple in northern Kyoto that was a formal Imperial residence. (UNESCO World Heritage)!!
This site's Sakura is very rare, well-known for its dwarf cherry trees called "Omuro Sakura". Why so special is it grows low to the ground, almost like bushes, and are a rather late blooming variety of cherry.
The Sakura viewing is usually almost finishing in the beginning of Apr in other places, but the highlight viewing of Ninnaji is from early to middle of Apr, very special. This weekend (18th of Apr) must be the final chance this year!!
The view point of "Omuro Sakura" is in the left-end (west) side of the "Chumon (the Middle Gate)" entrance.
