Family from UK - Dec 25, 26, 2010
I simply cannot find words adequate enough to express our gratitude for your fabulous generosity. In particular, I wish to thank you for showing such great kindness to my children. I believe very strongly that exposure to such experiences is not only good for their personal development, but in the long run, essential for the sake of all humanity as our cross cultural ties allow us all to experience real understanding of humanity on the basis of friendship. You showed such warmth, humour, affection and patience for them. I know that you must receive emails like this on a regular basis but please be assured that we will maintain contact with you and send you our love and very best wishes. If you, your friends or family are ever in need of company in Hong Kong or the UK, we will gratefully be your hosts so do not hesitate to ask. I will treasure our experience deeply and thank you again for your great care and attention, we simply loved every moment. Thank you again.

Dear Satoko,

Thanks a lot for your useful help during our stay in Kyoto. We have had a wonderful time in Japan. You are a perfect guide! We enjoyed a lot the whole day with you in Kyoto: the mountain train tour, the visits (temples, castle, gardens.. ) and the lunch. What a great day! I have attached some photos, I hope you like them. Following your advice, we went to Hikone the day after. We visited the Museum, the Castle and the Garden. It´s really worthy to do so. We had fun and liked the site a lot (what a view of Biwa lake!) Again,  thanks a lot for your help.  We won´t forget these magnificent days in Japan. I hope you have liked the Gran Canaria's book. Best wishes and regards from my family.

Dear Satoko,
Thank you very much again for the wonderful day we had a week ago! And thank you sooo much for the amazing photos!!! I appreciate the time you took to put them into albums, I know it really takes long to organize the photos.. We had so much fun to see these pictures, brings back great memories! Of course I love most of the photos in the album (you really have a good eye on catching photos!). Our very best regards and many thanks for your kindness, Charna and boys

How are you? We still feel happy. It was unbelievable to know Japan and when you be so happy everything seems easy and better. We come back to Spain tomorrow but first we would like to say you THANK YOU VERY MUCH, we think that Japan is unbelievebla, at first for people like yours. We are falling in love to Japan and we are thinking to come back sometime to know Hokkaido and Okinawa, it´s only a dream, but who knows. Your country is unique and we have felt as in our house or ever better. On Tuesday we went to Higashiyama North and then we went to Hikone (It´s beautiful and you feel that it´s an original castell, you can imagine the daymio living there). We hope to keep in touch with yours. We´ll send you some photos, and we are waiting for you in Spain

Satoko,
Thank you again for your excellent guidance in Kyoto on August 22. We have just returned from our vacation and we loved every day we had in Japan. We particularly enjoyed our day with you and I cannot thank you enough for your help. When I am done going through all of our pictures, I will be sure to send you some of the better photos.

Hi Satokooo!!!
We enjoyed very much your guide!!! We had a great time with you in Kyoto. It's a beautiful memory... I'll think about macha caffe...never say never! The oracle said that I've to be patient...and everything will be OK! So far, I've ordered japanese green tea on line, we'll see if it's good like we tasted in japan...  Now, I've to go, here in office they are calling me...but I'll write you soon.
Ciao ciao!!!

Hi Satoko!  How much the Japan misses me! Donatella and I are thinking about returning there as soon as possible! The only person that has eaten the evening of the ice cream have been me! Donatella and Claudia didn't have at all hunger! We have made the last purchases to the airport of Tokyo. Unfortunately there were not many shops. However we bought a flood of Japanese sweets, bottles of sake, books, jewel cases of lacquer and many other things. Let's wait you as soon as possible to Rome! See you soon! CIAOOOOOO!!!!!!!!
Donatella and Daria from Italy  -  Aug 19, 2009

Dear Satoko,
We arrived yesterday at night (spain hour), and are still with jet lag. We also were glad to see you. Olga took some good photos of two maikos leaving that house. We also bought some different flavors of that sweet we tasted with you at the top of Kiyomizu hill.  Finally, we went directly to kameoka by JR, and then sailing to Arashiyama.  At Arashiyama, we visited Tenryuji Temple and the bamboo path. After lunch, we came back to the hotel because it was a very hot day. We enjoyed this day despite the heat.
The day after, we visited Nara during the morning and then went to dinner to Takao. We expected more about Nara. We imagined like Nikko. Besides, we loved todaiji temple. The dinner was a nice experience. The meal was good, the place romantic and pretty. There were 3 Maikos. Two of them, were greeting, talking from table to table. Everybody were madding photos with them, and we did as well. Finally, every two of them, danced a song. Maybe it was a bit short, because we arrived at 6 pm, and leaved at 8 pm. The last two days, we went for a walk pacefully at Gion, Pontocho and city center area, buying souvenirs and enjoying the city.Thank you very much for your time and your effort to make easier and nicer our stay at Kyoto. We keep in touck ;)  Arigato & Sayonara.
